Kongunadu Arts and Science College was established in 1973 as a private college in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. KASC offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and M. Phil courses in Arts, Science and Commerce streams. It is affiliated to Bharathiar University. It has autonomous status having 13 research departments. Moreover, 15 PG Departments are offered to approximately 5000 students. KASC has more than 50% of female students who play a pivotal role in women’s empowerment and social justice.

Kongunadu Arts and Science College Admission 2024
Admission to KASC can be done in both online and offline mode. Admissions are made as per the guidelines of Bharathiar University and Tamil Nadu State Government. Application for admission to college should be submitted from the official college website.
Offline mode
Candidates shall download the open the official website and click on the “Admission” column. From the admission column, candidates have to choose for Graduate and Undergraduate courses. Government Aided and unaided forms are also available while downloading on the website. Candidates shall attach all the required documents in the form. After that, it should be submitted to the principal’s office in person. Moreover, it can also be posted along with the designated registration fees.
Online mode
Candidates shall open the official website and click on the “Admission” column. From the admission column, candidates shall choose “Online Registration” Candidates should get the “Demand Draft” or “Money Order” in Favor of “Kongunadu Arts and Science College” payable at Coimbatore. With the amount, he/she should give complete address and course applied for.
Candidates should fill in all the required details on the website. After that submit the form online with the Money Order and Demand Draft. For Ph.D. Programs, Applicants should get the form from the Registrar, Bharathiar University. He/she should attach all the required documents along with the application fee. Submit the application form to the Office via post or in person. The selection process will be followed by a personal interview. Moreover, other formalities as per the norms of the college.

Kongunadu Arts and Science College Scholarship
KASC does not provide any scholarship under its name to its students. However, students seek a scholarship from the State and Central Government to fund their studies. Various NGOs and Non-profit organizations also provide scholarships to students who belong to the backward class. Meritorious students can also benefit from these scholarships. Below is the list of a few scholarships that the students can avail of.
The Bharat Petroleum Scholarship for Higher Studies supports students who wish to study at renowned institutes. It does so by funding their college fees. Applicants with an Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) must have a minimum of 6.0 on the 10-point scale. Candidates meeting this criterion are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Central Sector Scholarship Scheme provides a scholarship of Rs. 10,000 per annum in the first-year undergraduate course who have scored more than 80 percentile in their previous year.
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities provides a scholarship of Rs. 6,000 per annum to the students belonging to the minority category. Students should have more than 50 percentile marks and the family’s annual income should be less than Rs. 2,00,000.
